DESCRIPTION

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Take off sets of plans for estimates (counting fixtures, measuring piping and ductwork).
  • Filling out permits, plan approval forms, etc. in a timely manner.
  • 2D & 3D HVAC & Plumbing CAD shop drawings & as built.
  • Taking measurements of walls, steel, pipes & ductwork in the field and coordinating ductwork and piping around in
    AutoCAD and/or REVIT.
  • Organize project documents and put together submittal binders.
  • Interact with vendors, contractors, and customers on the phone and at jobsites.
  • Take part in commercial sales visits and drafting sales proposals.
  • Fabricate ductwork using sheet metal and install systems in the field.
  • Perform all other duties assigned to this role.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architectural or Mechanical Engineering
  • Experienced drawing in AutoCAD REVIT.
  • Knowledgeable in HVAC system types, system selection, performance characteristics and applications of different
    system types.
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings of multiple trades.
  • Ability to interact with field personnel, other trades and office staff and incorporate information into drawings.
  • Knowledge of building code requirements.
  • Knowledge of how to read blueprints.
